I will be a vendor at this weekend's Geek'd Con at the Shreveport Convention Center. I am seeking 1 person to help run my merch booth on Saturday and Sunday, then help breakdown and load-out after the show ends on Sunday Hours: Saturday (Aug 20): 8:30 am to 6pm Sunday (Aug 21) Noon to 8pm Job description: Saturday and Sunday during the show duties include: assisting customers, watching out for shoplifters, and organizing merchandise. Sunday after the show ends we will pack up the booth and load it into the van. Things to know: You should expect to be on your feet the majority of the time. Merchandise boxes can weigh up to 50 lbs, so any hire will need to be able to lift and carry that amount. Parking fees are not covered. Nor are food and beverages. There will be a lot of direct face time with customers/attendees. Pay rate is $13.00 an hour in cash paid at the end of the show.
