Here's the thing: I'm a lifelong musician, age 51, and I have some fire left in my belly. I moved back to Hampton a while ago, to help take care of my Mom, and I left behind a pretty great scene in Richmond. I yearn to meet some local peeps who have groove, chops, energy, and panache. I have been playing guitar since I was seven. I play bass, and sing as well. looking for anyone who can tap into that elusive river of inspiration. I have a bag full of songs, and I'm ready to play them in front of a mesmerized crowd. I need heavy hitters. I like clever songs, with a strong groove. I have played in indie bands, alt country bands, even a funk band...with a horn section. I write my own tunes, but am totally down to collaborate. Talking Heads meets The Minutemen, plus Bad Brains, sprinkled with The Police/The Clash/Elmore James/Guided By Voices...etc. Let's make something beautiful.
