OhioMHAS Peer Recovery Supporter (PRS) Training teaches individuals in recovery from a mental health and/or substance use issue to use their experience to help their peers who are also in recovery. To attend training, you must personally be in recovery from addiction and/or a mental health issue.
This training will be held for (5) days Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in-person at the address below.

Location: Career ConnectED, 700 South Limestone Street, Springfield, OH 45505
Meals: A boxed lunch will be provided each day.
Please note: {Preference is given to residents of; Clark, Greene, and Madison Counties.} If you are not a resident of Clark, Greene, or Madison county you will be placed on a waitlist for any additional seats as we get closer to the training date. Waitlist seats will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis.
Participant Requirements:
Have a direct lived experience of mental health and/or substance use issues. Having a friend or family member in recovery does not qualify you to attend this training.Complete the e-based training "before" attending class We must have proof of your e-based class completion no later than the Friday before class starts. If you have not completed the e-based training you will not be permitted in class. Attend each day of training for the full amount of time in order to receive credit. Anytime missed will result in you not receiving a class certificate. If you miss any portion of this training, you will be required to repeat the entire 40 hours of PRS training. Must agree to and be comfortable with sharing your story openly and publicly.
