While you're cooking, you'll get to practice these social tips with your group members. Get ready for a jam-packed cooking class and connection workshop! All guests must register before the event. Please no walk-ins. About Emma (Emm Co) Emma is passionate about food, art, and connecting people to create meaningful friendships. In 2021, she decided to combine these joys into something that can help others build their own community. She has been planning private and corporate events for over 12 years; some of that time was spent as the member relations manager at the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC. Emma moved to Colorado a few years ago from Michigan, and has seen firsthand how difficult it can be to find community in a new city. You might hear this often - we aren’t in school anymore and it’s become more difficult to make friends. The purpose of Emm Co. events is to create a space for you to comfortably meet new people, learn something to better your life, and enjoy being creative. “We attended the shrimp & grits class and had a blast. In some cases a credit, rather than a refund will be given. If you choose to sell your ticket, please inform the host. If a class needs to be rescheduled and you cannot attend, you may receive a credit to attend another class, or in special circumstances, a refund (minus the service fees).
