The 2022 Rivanna River Basin Conference will be focusing on the recent Virginia solar policies and what localities and the public can do to help the state meet its goal of becoming carbon-zero! Experienced speakers from the Weldon Cooper Center, Encore Renewable Energy, and the Department of Environmental Quality will present recent updates and future programs on how solar energy will help Virginia meet its energy goals.
Come learn how best management practices like agrivoltaics and impervious surfaces can work alongside current land use practices to promote more efficient use of land.
The Rivanna River Basin Commission is dedicated to improving our waterways and has invited local and state organizations to table at our event! We are excited to provide you with the opportunity to connect and speak with some of these organizations to learn more about how you can help!
