Bridging the Gap: A Faith Community Poverty Simulation

Many people understand the basics of poverty. We sympathize with how difficult it can be to make ends meet when we don't have enough resources coming in. However, unless we live it, we aren't truly equipped to empathize. Through this poverty simulation, you will have the opportunity to experience what others go through all the time. We hope that through the experience alongside other faith communities, you will be inspired to take action. The event will take place at Warrenton United Methodist Church on October 16th from 2 pm until 5 pm. Along with the simulation, we will also have a conversation with local advocates for those living through poverty.
