Join us on Thursday, September 29th for this literary inspired event in support of Decode Project! Brush up on your spelling skills, sign up for the (optional) spelling bee, and bid on a boozy book silent auction basket—think books by famous BIPOC authors past and present, paired with their favorite drink concoctions. Toni Morrison's The Bluest Eye and vodka anyone? Maybe James Baldwin's Notes of a Native Son and bourbon? Delicious food from Happy Belly Bistro and MozzaPi available for purchase. Feel free to come out early for dinner. All proceeds from this event support Decode Project's mission of eliminating inequities in education by fostering a diverse community of learners prepared to navigate the world.
