Description

This will be a day dedicated to teaching 4 year old students and working to develop lessons for foundational reading and math. Participants will engage in activities they can replicate in their classroom to implement math lesson strategies. This training is for all Preschool, TK, & K teachers, and academic coaches. This training will be facilitated by Lake County Office of Education Learning Support Specialist Carly Swatosh-Sherman & Kim Ferguson. Attendees can bring a laptop but it is not required. Lake County teachers and instructional coaches will receive a $200 stipend. Stipends are subject to employer's costs. Please park in the back parking lot of the Lake County Office of Education Lakeport Main Street Office building. Lunch will be provided.
