OKEMO MOUNTAIN RESORT Offering southern Vermont’s highest vertical drop of 2,200 feet and a trail network that spans five distinct alpine areas, Okemo Mountain Resort is a family oriented and family operated resort. Rising about the village of Ludlow, Vermont, Okemo offers 96% snowmaking across its 655 accessible acres with 120 trails and glades and 200 inches of annual snowfall. 31% of the trails are beginner, 28% intermediate, and 31% advanced to expert accommodating skiers and riders of all levels and abilities. For freestylers, Okemo Mountain Resort also features a Superpipe, six terrain parks, and an Amp Energy AirBag. Okemo Trail Map This trip is Epic Pass and Epic Local Pass friendly. LODGING We will be staying in a big vacation house in Chester, 5 bedrooms, 12 beds (4 queen/double beds , 4 single/bunk beds, 2 sofa beds, 2 couches), 4 baths, a family room and 2 living rooms. We will max out at 15 people. The house is 20 minutes to Okemo Resort. Features: Indoor fireplace: pellet stove, a large wet bar with mini fridge, sink and a microwave, Fios high speed internet, 2 TVs - one streaming, and one with cable, renovated kitchen, dish washer, foosball table, new washer, and dryer. Essentials: Shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, soap, towels, bed sheets, and toilet paper. If you are coming with your friend, please indicate your friend/roommate's name when booking. If you come alone, we will match you with same gender trip goer. We will also have a  Benz Sprinter van so everyone can relate and avoid 5 hours-long drive.  Trip plan email will be sent out to everyone confirmed via Eventbrite 2 to 3 days before the departure date providing trip logistics and details. LIFT TICKETS Please buy lift ticket directly from Epic Pass website (http://www.epicpass.com/) Typically options: Epic Local Pass or Epic Day Pass. If you plan to do week long west coast trip, or plan to go more than 5 day trips, get Epic Local Pass for $639; otherwise, just get Epic Day Pass (1 day to 7 days) cost as low as $60 a day. Epic Local Pass has unlimited restrictions on Hunter, Mount Snow, and Okemo, which we will host multiple times this season. Get the Epic Local Pass today. The price goes up in Nov.. Depart Date:  December 2nd, 2022 Friday. Please arrive 15 minutes earlier. Bus/Van will depart sharply on time with or without you. Return: Depart from Okemo at 3:30 pm on Sunday December 4 and expect to arrive at NJ at 9:00 pm, midtown NYC around 9:30 pm & Flushing at 10:00 pm Trip Includes: 2 nights shared accommodation (sharing a queen/full bed) at a big vacation house in Chester. Round trip transportation from NYC area & tolls, daily transportation between the house & ski resort, & parking fee if any. $10 tips for the van driver is required & will be collected on the returning trip.
