Purse Drive Bring a gently used or new purse to the luncheon to support unemployed women at Dress for Success Triangle. Your donation will make an interview outfit complete for an underserved woman who is seeking employment and financial independence. The Power of the Purse - Event How career coaching is even more important than image coaching and that volunteering is as important as donating. This lunch event with Dress for Success and Women's Giving Network will be led by Amy Pirozzolo, Head of Marketing with Fidelity Charitable and Karen Johnson, Development Director for Dress for Success Triangle. 11:30am-12pm: Networking 12-1pm: Lunch and Learn 1-1:30pm: Q&A $35++ for Invited Clubs members and guests Introduction of our moderators: Amy Pirozzolo is head of marketing at Fidelity CharitableĀ®, an independent public charity that has helped donors support more than 357,000 nonprofit organizations with $61 billion in grants.1 The mission of Fidelity CharitableĀ® is to grow the American tradition of philanthropy by providing programs that make charitable giving accessible, simple, and effective. Ms. Pirozzolo assumed her current role in 2013. Experienced in both consumer and business-to-business marketing at marquee brands across a variety of industries, Ms. Pirozzolo is responsible for leading all aspects of marketing for Fidelity Charitable, including driving awareness for donor-advised funds, fundraising support, donor and nonprofit engagement strategy, and new program launches. Ms. Pirozzolo also serves on the team supporting the Fidelity Charitable Trustees' Initiative. Prior to her current role, Ms. Pirozzolo spent nearly 20 years in Fidelity's Workplace Investing organization, where she held a variety of leadership positions honing her experience in acquisition, client development, retention, and product marketing. During her tenure, she helped establish Fidelity as a leading 401(k) provider for more than 17,000 small to midsized businesses. Prior to joining Fidelity InvestmentsĀ®, Ms. Pirozzolo held various marketing roles at Easy Spirit Shoes and LensCrafters. Ms. Pirozzolo also volunteers her time serving as chair of the board for Freedom United, the world's largest advocacy organization committed to ending modern-day slavery and human trafficking. Additionally, she is President of the Women's Giving Network of Wake County (North Carolina). Ms. Pirozzolo is also a member of the Triangle American Marketing Association (AMA) where she co-founded and co-leads the CMO networking group. Karen Johnson is the Development Director for Dress for Success Triangle. She began her career in the non-profit space in 2015 after corporate roles in product research, and marketing and sales with General Motors in Michigan and New York, and then Johnson & Johnson, Inc. in Connecticut. Karen's passion for supporting Dress for Success has grown since she served on the Board of Directors for the affiliate in Fairfield County, Connecticut. When she returned to Raleigh, she began volunteering with the newly formed affiliate, which led to a marketing role and ultimately fundraising. "I absolutely love my job. We see women transformed almost daily and it's not just the clients who are changed, it's the staff and volunteers as well. To hear the stories of women who get the job they want or embrace a new-found confidence is powerful.
