Thousands of knitters and crocheters are set to descend on Reno for the Sierra Nevada Yarn Crawl! Starting Thursday, September 15 and ending Sunday, September 18 you can visit Jimmy Beans Wool for the chance to participate in fun events and win prizes! Both the retail store and 20,000 sq. ft. three-room-warehouse with a great selection of yarn, hooks, needles, and more will be open to the public for shopping! Jimmy Beans Wool has created a special custom color named Desert Prism and an exclusive kit that will be available for purchase during the crawl. Crawlers can also squish Reno Rafter 7, JBW's first truly-local yarn created in collaboration with the University of Nevada, Reno's College of Agriculture, Biotechnology & Natural Resources (CABNR).
