This year a focus will be on surviving Savannah after incarceration! Selected individuals who are experiencing successful reintegration right here will discuss the challenges they face, ways they overcame those challenges, and resources they utilized.
The Keynote Speaker this year is Kemba Smith Pradia. Kemba went from college student to drug dealer's girlfriend to domestic violence victim to federal prisoner. Her story of perseverance is remarkable, insightful, though-provoking, and inspirational. An advocate for criminal justice reform, Kemba has worked with senior officials at the White House, the United Nations, Members of Congress, parole boards, sentencing commissions, etc.
Additionally, local criminal justice practitioners who have a track record helping justice impacted persons to succeed will share their wisdom and expertise.
