Description

The Reentry Roundtable will be held at PSHBC in Hernando County from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Monday , October 25. LIFEline is working with End Recidivism, the Hernando Parole and Probation Department Pastors NAMI Offices, and many other key stakeholders. The goal of this very broad panel discussion is to create better ways to reduce recidivism. We will be looking for ways to combat the challenges of reentry with a focus on the unique opportunities that can be provided to improve the outcomes of those returning to society after incarceration. Every year, thousands of people are being released back into Tampa Bay communities from jails and/or prisons. LIFEline President Rev. Dr. Emery Ailes said, "Linking In Faith and Education is the Tigris and teh Euphrates of our liberation; twin rivers at the center of our existence. LIFEline programs are committed to working with community stakeholders to to be deliberate with our faith and intentional to reduce recidivism by providing community with sound curriculum and support. We believe in the Word when the Master said I have Come that you may have LIFE and have it more abundantly" This conversation is a collaboration between local, state, federal, grassroots, and faith-based organizations as well some formerly incarcerated individuals. LIFEline University is pleased to host this important event and welcome and encourage you to attend.
