It is my great pleasure to invite you to our All-Tampa Bay Rally in honor of the Independence Day of Ukraine! Please join us on August 27 (Saturday) at 9:30 AM in Curtis Hixon Park in Tampa downtown (600 N Ashley Dr, Tampa FL 33602). Among invited speakers are the Mayor Jane Castor and a VP of USF and a prominent public figure Dr. Donna Petersen. Among participants are professional Ukrainian singers, an orchestra violinist, a professional bandura player from Chicago (bandura is a traditional Ukrainian instrument), a standup comedian. All of these will be intertwined with ballroom and traditional dancing, reading of Ukrainian poetry in English, opportunities for karaoke and open mic. This event is supported by Saint Leo University, the National US-Ukrainian Foundation, and a prominent local family business of Iavarone’s Steakhouse.
