Coalesce Collective MN, an AAPI organization with a mission to celebrate creatives in the AAPI + BIPOC communities, is back for another season for Fashion Week MN. This season we wanted to focus on a time that really represented a change in culture and fashion. Introducing Coalesce: 1922, a look at a time when women’s rights, culture, race, and fashion paved the way for voices to be heard told through the eyes of our AAPI + BIPOC voices. David Chang, founder of Croig (@croig.co) a moto creative shop, will be co-producing the production and showcasing vintage motorcycles during the runway show led by his team of male models showcasing painted clothing from Alex of @artist.vav and wearing clothes by @artinvasionz. Our VIP experience will be hosted from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on the first floor of the Turnblad Mansion, where guests can enjoy cocktails by Slate & Stone while appreciating art installations and model vignettes curated by the Coalesce team. Our runway show will be hosted in the beautiful courtyard at The American Swedish Institute. Guests will be able to mingle and enjoy music and cocktails pre-show, with the runway show starting at 7:30 pm. We will have models walking the runway with live video projections to bring this unique runway experience full circle.
