Thinking about giving back to the community and helping others? Become a Hospice Volunteer! Comfort Care Hospice an Aveanna company is looking for compassionate individuals to join our team and help make a difference in the lives of others as a hospice volunteer. Patient Companion- work directly with patients and families to provide social and emotional support through scheduled visits. This may include activities such as reading with the patient, listening to music together, or just providing a friendly presence. Talent Share-use your talents to help and minister to others. Music Therapy-piano, violin, guitar, vocal. Crafting-sewing, crocheting, painting. Vet to Vet-recognition and support of our special Veterans. Student Volunteer- high school, college, trade schools- student volunteer opportunities are ideal for community service requirements while at the same time gaining valuable skills and experience. Office Support-help in our office by assisting with reception, phones, data entry, mailings and more. Pet Therapy-a wonderful way to share compassion and comfort through pet interactions (pets must be pet therapy certified) For more information please contact me.
