Experiencing art in a group setting is a powerful way to expand our world view and perspective, while connecting with others here in Conway and building a global community. Experience Art at The Max leverages the design and technology of The Max Event Venue to deliver a meaningful art experience. Come join us for all of our Art Series events at The Max. Friday September 2, The Power of Poetry - Writing in response to Atrocity Readings and conversation with Ukrainian-American Poet Julia Kolchinsky Dasbach, PhD Poetry is a powerful art form, and in this Experience Art at The Max event, we will explore poetry in response to atrocity. Specifically, the horrific Russian invasion and devastation in Ukraine. Julia Kolchinsky Dasbach, our presenter, is uniquely qualified as a poet, a poetry professor at Hendrix College and is a Ukrainian-American. Come hear her story, her poetry and engage with the global poem she authored in the Dear Ukraine project. This event is an After Party to the Conway Art Walk event from 5-8pm in downtown Conway. We invite you to enjoy the arts in Conway and finish your evening at The Max Event Venue with this powerful presentation of poetry. Doors open at 7:30 and the program begins at 8. Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages are included. The event will conclude by 8:45 or 9, but stay and visit as long as you like. $20/person, Experience Art at The Max
