It is time for football season, and you are invited to join us for the GRPS City-Wide Alumni Classic Varsity Football Game on Saturday, August 27th at Houseman Field's observation deck. Game begins at 12 noon - come early! VIP passes include viewing the game from the superintendent's observation deck, food and drink, school swag, and socializing with other alumni. Annually up to 5,000 attendees made up of GRPS families, alumni, fans, and community members come together to watch the home opening football game of the season of GRPS’ main sports teams, Union High Redhawks versus Ottawa Hills High Bengals. The day begins early with a family-friendly tailgate party before the game from 9:30 am-11:30 am with a bounce house, music, free food, school swag for sale, and opportunities for community partners to join us.
