Sad stuff! I found 2 dogs that are in serious need of vet care! If they are yours I have them, If they have been missing for months and months then I understand why the smaller one has not been treated for the open wound golf ball sized puss filled cyst on her back. She has smaller ones too. She also has sores on a lot of her body and is missing a lot of hair and they both had a lot of fleas. I gave them baths and treated them with a monthly flea treatment. I would bet all the biscuits I got that they have heartworms. They were running up and down the street yesterday and today they were laying in my front yard when I woke up. They don't seem to be interested in leaving so I will set them up a tent with a dog bed in the front yard and feed them until they are claimed or placed somewhere else. Maybe someone other than you will be interested in adopting them. I have 5 dogs in the house already. I think the owner of the house will be displeased if I took on 2 more. If someone wanted to donate to their cause it would help that situation a lot! They need to be spayed and neutered and have heartworm tests and possibly heartworm treatment and the smaller one has to have some kind or kinds of prescription medication for her infection. They need their rabies shots and they also need to be wormed. I really want them to have a good home together and it would be a lot easier to get them placed if they are properly treated first. I thought about taking them to the shelter but I am worried about them being separated and the male has shown some territorial aggression towards food and when he's getting attention and another dog besides his girlfriend gets in the way. I was holding my cat to see what they would do and the smaller one snapped at him. I also saw them chasing rats so if you have a farm they may be very helpful to you. These guys are super sweet to kids and people and other animals when food or attention is not involved. They seem starved for affection and they need a person and I'm not well off enough to pay for all the things they need.
