CYS Enterprises is currently seeking a hardworking, self-motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a part-time or full-time Custodian / Industrial Cleaner, in Eielson AFB, Alaska. Responsibilities: - Cleaning of all horizontal and vertical surfaces, including: walls, floors, stairwells, structural beams, piping, ducts, generators, equipment, and control panels. This involves removal of coal/ash dust, grease, and oil from all surfaces. - Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and shampooing. This includes the use and care of floor cleaning machines. - Empty trash cans and replace liners. Clean receptacles, as necessary. - Dust and wipe down high and low surfaces. - Service, clean, and supply restrooms. - Clean and sanitize drinking fountains. - Perform emergency or non-routine cleaning, as necessary. - Follow all health and safety regulations. Qualifications: - Work experience as a Janitor or Custodian (optional) - Ability to handle standard cleaning equipment and machinery - Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies - Ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) - Ability to take initiative and work well under minimal supervision - Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary - High school diploma or equivalent - Current ID or Driver’s License and reliable transportation Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00am - 3:00pm (excluding holidays, hours are flexible) Salary: $15.66 per hour + Health & Welfare ($4.60 per hour) Full-Time Benefits: - 2 weeks vacation - Paid holidays
