Journeyman drummer, 45+, looking for casual paced rock side project. Rehearse 1 night a week, gig once a month when we’re up to speed. I have pro level gear, time to practice, gas money, transportation and a wife that understands. I expect the same from you :) Willing to join the right working band or let’s put something together! I can contribute with background vocals and dabble with guitar. My preference is 80’s hair metal but am happy to play anything of the rock/blues genre from late 70’s to current, AC/DC – Zeppelin. I do not wish to play country or contemporary pop music. Nothing against it, just not my thing. Some of my faves in no particular order: Rush, (OK, Rush is #1) Def Leppard, Van Halen, Motley Crue, Scorpions, Doobies, Eagles, Petty, Skid Row, Metallica, Stevie Ray, Alice in Chains, Pink Floyd, Loverboy, Journey, Skynard, Molly Hatchet, Damn Yankees, Tesla, Pat Benatar, Pat Travers, Queensryche, Toto, April Wine, Springsteen, Mellencamp, Foo Fighters, The Cars, Cheap Trick Some of my influences: John Bonham – Led Zeppelin Neil Peart – BTW I can cover several Rush tunes respectably Deen Castronovo - Journey Sean Kinney – Alice in Chains FYI: I have access to super cool/reasonable rent practice space if needed.
