Lafayette Americana band seeks laid back bassist!

We're a friends and family band called Mercy Club playing original music and the occasional cover, and we do it for fun! Here's our recent live ep: https://mercyclub.hearnow.com/ - this was recorded in June and it's exactly how we sound. Two vocals, acoustic guitar, drums, piano, and mandolin. Would like to add bass. A great fit would be someone with a very chill personality, who understands how to anchor a song and doesn't need to overplay. An absolute unicorn would be a bassist who can also play foot percussion when our drummer isn't there (she is very part time). You bring your own gear. Respectfully, we are not looking for original song contributions. We don't do this for money. Although we do get paid sometimes and split the bounty between us, if you need to get paid for gigs, this isn't a fit. Our age range is from 26 to 47. We have fun but we show up ready to play, not draggin' ass and not hungover. Would like to grow the band both sonically and in the amount of gigs we play. Next one on the calendar is Oct 21 at Cannon Mine in Lafayette. We rehearse in Gunbarrel and it's usually on a Sunday (not a heavy schedule at all).
