LOS ANGELES, CA — Broadcast legend Larry King was reportedly in a Los Angeles hospital battling COVID-19 Saturday according to multiple reports. He was being treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, ABC News reported. King was in isolation Saturday and is not permitted to have visits from anyone, including his family, Showbiz411 reported. King, 87, gained international recognition as the host of CNN's "Larry King Live," where he interviewed famous guests and discussed politics and hot-button issues until he stepped down in 2012. The famed show host and Brooklyn native was recruited by CNN after a successful run as host of radio show "The Larry King Show" in the 1970s. King has continued to host "Larry King Now" from 2012-20 on Hulu and RT America. He also hosts weekly "Politicking with Larry King" on those streaming platforms. This isn't the first time King has been faced with health problems. In 1987, King had a major heart attack, had a cancerous tumor in 2017, an angioplasty in 2019 and a stroke in March 2019.
