Pressed Floral Design Class with Needie Rountree from Pressed for Time. Welcome to The Pressed For Time, Dried Floral Class, with Needie Rountree! Needie has extensive experience drying and pressing flowers, herbs, and plants in general. She's bringing her talents and knowledge to Wilson, Arkansas, for a Saturday afternoon "make and take" class. Needie will demonstrate how to properly press flowers, placing blooms, and leaves accordingly, for longevity, as well as explain the various glues, and techniques used to arrange and preserve your pressed floral creations. Participants will make two of the following: an ornament, suncatcher, coaster, or a keepsake (5 x 7) box. This make and take class will also provide a list of tips, ideas, and resources for your future projects! Door Prize! Needie has graciously provided a complete flower press, outer boards, paper, blotting paper, cardboard, and binding straps for one lucky attendee! Light refreshments will be provided. Class size is limited, and masks must be worn. This is a COVID Compliant Event.
