We are looking for an on-site person or team for this position. We have a manager's apartment which includes utilities (electric, garbage, water and propane). Preferred person(s) with prior experience with RV Park Management. Perfect opportunity for single person or couple that doesn't have a Camper or RV to live in. RV Park & Store Manager(s) job description. • Ensure that park facilities are working properly and provide timely feedback to office if not. Must be able to maintain the RV Park grounds and building(s) in working order, test and maintain pool and well system. (Notify the office of any repairs that you are unable to repair.) • Maintain close contact with office personnel on a regular basis to ensure park is running smoothly and safely. • Run on-site general store, which include sales of supplies, cigarettes, beer/wine and stock store as needed. Enter and maintain inventory. • Register overnighters. Enforce rules and regulations of park, and In-take applications for any prospective tenants. • Collect rent from monthly tenants. • Collect money from laundry facilities. Read and log all full time tenant electric meters for office on a monthly basis. • Operate POS System. Past experience with Quickbooks POS a plus. • Close out the cash register and run daily, weekly and monthly reports for Bookkeeper. • Maintain all records and receipts for overall operations of park and store. • Certified Pool Operator Certificate - or ability to acquire within 2 weeks. • Certified to Pump Propane - (Y/e can provide this training) Skills: Communication skills, knowledge of campground or RV park operations, organizational, accounting, and general computer skills required. Ability to make minor repairs a plus. Knowledge of the operation of a small state water system is a plus. About the Park There are 39 sites, currently about 1/4 full with long term tenants. It is located in Northern California about 14 miles north of Shasta Lake, which is the largest man made lake in California. There are a variety of activities close by, including fishing, water activities, house-boating, camping, picnicking, hiking, biking and hunting. There is an on-site store, showers, restrooms, laundry and a pool. Salary $800/month Included: 1 bedroom apartment attached to the store utilities included. We require a $25.00 Credit & Background Check for each applicant/co-applicant.
