Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation has immediate openings for Rescue Care Center Kennel Technicians to care for dogs and maintain a clean, healthy environment.
Employees MUST be able to work at least two days per week.
A patient and caring attitude and the ability to multitask in an environment full of distractions is a must. Willingness to learn new skills, follow instructions carefully, and work as part of a team is also required -- respectful communication with coworkers is crucial. Responsibilities include cleaning kennels, handling dogs, washing bowls, doing laundry and anything else needed to ensure the cleanliness of the facility and the healthy care-taking of the dogs. If you're not physically capable of walking large active dogs, this position is not for you.
Some specific job duties include:
Active supervision of group play.
Clean and disinfect kennels
Feeding and administering medications.
Poop pick up!
The Position requires some period of time being outside with the dogs in cold and hot weather.
Walk Dogs
Wash dishes
Run Laundry
Other duties assigned
