Gigging Original Rock Band ISO Lead Guitarist Our band's lead guitar player is moving across the country to attend grad school. Our bassist can also play lead guitarist. So we're auditioning guitarists on August 24 and 31 in Falls Church. We have about an hour of original material you'll need to eventually learn, mostly by ear. I have root chord lists, but no actual charts for leads. Candidates must have their own transportation and be available for weekly rehearsals (though we know sometimes things happen) and one, or maybe two, gigs a month in the DC area. Everyone in the band currently has a professional day job that comes first. So we will work with the right candidate on scheduling around job and family.
