We are an entertainment rental company that provides a variety of games, entertainment services, and staffing for events. We operate out of Austin but service all of Texas. Shifts are dependent on event times and range wildly with many shifts being late at night for pickups. This job would be great for someone who already has a full or part-time job that wants to make extra income. Job Type: Part-time gig work. Only work the shifts you want with no commitment to work a specific weekly schedule. We are busiest on the weekends but have work during the week as well. Pay: $20/hr Responsibilities Include: - Preparing equipment for events (verifying all parts are present, wiping down equipment, and minor repairs) - Verifying equipment loadout before leaving the shop - Delivering games to events (arcades, pool tables, yard games, and other misc games and equipment) - Communicating professionally with clients and planners during deliveries and events - Setting up games and equipment - Staffing events. (Cornhole tournaments, Photobooths, VR systems, etc.) - Picking up games and equipment after the event ends - Reporting damaged and missing equipment so it can be repaired or replaced promptly - Miscellaneous warehouse duties Requirements: - Android or iPhone with access to google calendar and maps - Valid driver license - Ability to lift at least 50lbs - 18+ years of age - Positive attitude with good communication skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Promptness is a must Preferences: - Box truck driving and hauling a trailer is a plus but we will train - Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools Additional Information: - We pay time and a half for late night work (anything past 10 pm) as well as certain holidays - IRS mileage rate when using personal vehicle (this is rare but we may ask if you are willing to use your vehicle for some small deliveries, staffing, or the like)
