Come join the team at Smalley Diesel Center We are a fast pace rapidly growing small family company looking for a dependable, experienced diesel mechanic with knowledge in Detroit engines and diagnostic computer skills. Essential Duties Knowledge in replacing clutches, rear ends adjust valves, replace injectors, brakes, air systems, electrical wiring. Identifies and documents defects and performance related deficiencies; completes inspection sheets to inform other mechanics of problems, progress and parts used; assist other mechanics in the completion of work activities; cleans and organizes fleet repair shop. Perform and assist in prevention maintenance of truck and trailers. Greases and lubricates parts and equipment; replaces and repairs tires; changes oils and filters; adjust brakes and performs major and minor repairs. Some welding skills preferable. Basic computer skills. What we can offer!
