Description

Our caretaker is responsible for maintaining an on-site presence and the repair/maintenance of equipment and buildings as needed. Duties include: - Cutting/splitting firewood (approx. 5-10 cords per winter) - Snow shoveling (roofs and porches) - Snow machine maintenance - Generator maintenance - Internet equipment maintenance if necessary (you need to check in weekly) - Gathering water and cooking/cleaning for yourself QUALIFICATIONS - Hard working, self-sufficient, positive attitude - Safety minded and responsible - Physically fit without underlying health issues - Mechanical experience with small engines, snow machines, outboard motors, chain saws, etc. - Snow machine and boating experience - Chain saw / wood-splitting experience - Prior off-the-grid / remote living experience preferred - Drug free
