PT/FT weekdays to help care for, harvest, and pack tree fruits and vegetables. Helping with delivery driving and retail sales assistance is a possibility as well. Positions are open now and candidates must be able to commit to working into November (no summer-only positions are available). There are opportunities for continuing long-term employment for the right person/people from year to year, with increasing responsibility and wages. Shared housing may be available as well, at very reasonable rent. Must be able to lift, bend and be on your feet for the workday. $12/hr to start. About us: North Star Orchard is a 20-acre farm where our focus is on unique and heritage varieties of fruit (over 300 varieties of apples alone!) and a wide selection of vegetables. We operate a large fruit CSA, sell at area farmers’ markets, and have an on-site farm store, so there is a lot going on for you to enjoy being involved in. We grow non-certified organically-grown vegetables and IPM tree fruit.
