Vacation Rental Inspector / Maintenance Runner What we’re looking for: We are a new and growing vacation rental management company at the Jersey Shore, looking for a Rental Inspector / Maintenance Runner. The ideal candidate should be a motivated, self-starter with a positive, problem-solving attitude. This person will assist in inspecting and maintaining the needs of our properties. You will spend your days traveling, inspecting beautiful vacation homes & conducting basic maintenance tasks at our homes. This person is responsible for the day-to-day readiness for arrivals and promptly inspecting homes after guests or owners have departed. Attention to detail is required along with your own vehicle, clean driving record and a valid driver's license. What you’ll do ● Expect the unexpected, no day is the same and it will be spent traveling between properties, performing basic maintenance and tasks in our homes. Flexibility and adaptability is a must ● Work as part of our operation team to support the day to day, and come to the rescue of any team member in need ● Responsible for day to day readiness of the property down to fine details ● Knowledge of home systems, maintenance and troubleshooting HOME INSPECTIONS ● Physical inspection of properties both inside and out with a fine attention to detail ● Maintain and replenish inventory and maintenance supplies ● Act as the eyes and ears for our properties ● Report when something needs to be fixed, repaired or replaced MAINTENANCE ● Pick up and drop off needed supplies ● Remove trash from homes and return empty garbage cans ● Assist cleaning team with linen pickup and drop off ● Minor maintenance tasks such as furniture assembly and changing light-bulbs ● Basic trouble-shooting such as resetting cable/wifi
