Description
The hazeldean sands point blueprints saga …in a land just over the sound.. A friend passed away here. Among his eccentric collection of items,We have discovered 7 large blueprint pages approx 30x40” “House for James laidlaw sands point Li” Dated signed and stamped 1906 Radcliffe and Kelley (famous architects) These are an amazing piece of history Would be impressive if each were framed and displayed New York history, long island history, sands point history architectural history and of course as property history Might even hold a secret or two … I have made several attempts to locate owners of Hazeldean manor Even drove there several hours (and ferry home) to find the property unoccupied And recently sold for 3.25 million), left a note in the mailbox first week of July.. no response internet information is not reliable Town hall gives me B.C & A.C. As owners (Abbreviated) again no calls back and denied a friend attempt on fb and has not read messages sent In my attempted research.. I have also spoken to very kind previous owners of hazeldean who agreed these documents are important but my attempts have failed so far at this reconnection.. It’s a tear down and rebuild world as one ‘expert’ gave his opinion that current owners may not consider these important :( I hope that is not the case Even the cranky realtor was useless to connect and said I should give them to sands point historical.. noble but pffft it’s not up to the realtor. Serious inquiries are welcome Hazeldean owners especially How does something as important as this get separated from a property? Those are questions we have as well… Likely never find out how they ended up in a bookcase at a farm in northwest Connecticut All I can do is try to get these where they belong… What else would you do with them? If this ad is here I have had no contact with the owners Think you can do better with these? Make me an offer !
