towing drivers to pick up campers

Montauk NY

Description

-I need someone with a tow ready vehicle with towing and camper experience -You must drive your own vehicle (I do not reimburse you for gas) -I need someone to be able to pick up my campers at Hither Hills by 9am for camper pick ups and later that same day deliver that same camper at 3pm to Hither Hills, Montauk -Picking up a camper requires: cleaning the camper, restocking items, making sure the camper is in good condition and nothing is broken or missing (the customer is waiting on their damage security deposit to be returned), breaking down the camper, filling the camper with water for the next booking and disposing of the bathroom waste if the camper has a bathroom -Delivering a camper requires: setting it up for the customer and making sure everything works properly. Double checking the propane tanks are full, the batteries are charged, the camper is fully stocked with the proper items it’s supposed to have (list is supplied), and if the customer is renting any additional rental items it will be discussed ahead of time but you will either have this with you for the booking or I will be delivering this to the customer personally later that day. You will need to show the customer how everything in the camper works. -Some of my campers are travel trailers, hybrid travel trailers and pop up campers; you need to know how to set up and break down all of these campers -All of my campers weigh less than 4,000 lbs and are less than 23 feet long. -A MAJORITY of the working days are Friday, Saturday and Sunday -This is a seasonal position: June-September (Sometimes May too) -On average, there are about 13 working days throughout the season. There isn’t a “working schedule” I can give you, its random days that I will ask you ahead of time if you can work or not. -There are last minute bookings when it comes to camping, ALWAYS! I am always upfront about this. If I cannot deliver the camper myself, I will ask if this is something you can take on and it may be a week before, or a few days before. The same applies for CANCELS. Customers cancel their bookings last minute as well. So, you may have a working day that gets canceled. -Sometimes there are days where it’s just a pick up or just a delivery, if this is the case; I still pay the same and I expect the same kind of work in return. -If you are scheduled for just a pick up, this means that you are picking the camper up at the campground and doing the normal pick up routine as mentioned above, but then bringing it back to storage. As of right now, my storage location is located in WESTHAMPTON. You must be ok with this, as it is not located in Montauk. -If you have a tow ready vehicle, if you are tech savvy and you are a local or live close to Montauk but you don’t know much about campers, I’m willing to teach you as long as you are a fast learner, dependable and a hard worker. You must be able to CLEAN and COMMUNICATE clearly. -I need 2 drivers for the rest of August and September. If things work out, I will use you throughout next season. $300 a day
