Did you know there are American Cancer Society programs in place right here in Miami, and Florida, to support you, your loved ones, and your community members impacted by cancer? It is more important than ever to inform ourselves on existing cancer resources and organize to get our loved one’s screened. Since COVID, we have seen an overall decrease in the number of cancer screenings all over the U.S. Here in Miami, this is especially dangerous because much of our population already faces health disparities that increase the probability of cancer mortality due to late diagnosis. Show up, get informed, share out.
