This two-day training will focus on helping grantees to become familiar with their grant application, building relationships, program start-up, state and federal guidelines, fiscal management, and our continuous quality improvement process. All new grantees must be represented.
Day 1
On Day 1, we have reserved space for each grantee to send their Program Director plus up to 3 key leadership team members, such as superintendents/CEOs, site coordinators, fiscal director, administrators and/or community partners.
The orientation will begin at 10:00 a.m. This late start time is designed to allow teams to travel in on this day. Please plan for lunch on your own. We will end at 4:00 p.m. to allow time for teams to travel back home. Come dressed comfortably and ready to dig in!
Day 2
Day 2 is for Program Directors only and will begin at 9:30 a.m. Please plan lunch on your own. Attendees should also come with following:
A copy of their grant application;Laptop; A clear understanding of what their district or organization's travel reimbursement policy is; andHave received at a minimum "read only" access to the 21st CCLC grant in the Grants Management System (GMS). This access may only be given by the authorized representative for your agency. Please ensure that each member of your team registers for the orientation.
Team travel expenses may be claimed for reimbursement with the 21st CCLC grant funds. Directors should ensure that they have made hotel accommodations near the training that does not exceed the rate for Norman, Oklahoma on gsa.gov.
