Description
• Install, assemble and test new machines and equipment; understand and comply with workplace safety regulations.
• Perform maintenance of buildings, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems to ensure they are up to current health and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical items such as light fixtures, ballasts, emergency lighting, switches & sockets, fuses, and circuit breakers.
• Perform plumbing repairs as required, fix plugged or leaking toilets, replace shower valves, unplug sinks and drains.
• Solving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on various production and facility equipment.
• Conduct general building upkeep such as cleaning, painting, patching drywall, and light carpentry.
• Welding, fabrication, machining, PLC programming, temperature controller and HVAC repair knowledge is a plus.
• Monitor, identify and respond promptly to signs of malfunction in machinery such as changes in performance, temperature fluctuations, sounds, smells or atypical energy usage; perform troubleshooting for production machinery.
