The WWTunes recreates the beloved music of America in the 1940’s. The group is led by Frank Nanna a lifelong musician who plays guitar, violin, and banjo.
Dave Dalfonso is a speech therapist by trade who plays saxophone and clarinet.
Carole Wolek plays the accordion and has taught music to people of all ages.
Len Wolek is Carol’s husband. He plays the banjo and mandolin.
The group got together initially to play traditional Jewish klesmer music as part of a public library program promoting a book called “The Shaw” which was about the Holocaust.
