Stafford County Public Schools (SCPS) invites you to participate in the Inaugural Chart Your Future Expo on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center. The event will gather high school seniors from across the region in one location to chart their future after high school graduation. The event will feature content sessions led by industry experts and one-on-one interactions with colleges, universities, major employers, and military branches. SCPS will host two opportunities for regional high school seniors to attend the Chart Your Future event. The morning session is offered exclusively to all SCPS seniors during the school day, while an evening session, open to all students across the region, will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. SCPS strives to inspire and empower every student with meaningful experiences that will enhance their education and provide pathways to a fulfilling future career. Career and college readiness programs such as Chart Your Future are an important step in helping prepare students for their future in a tangible way by providing them with the tools, access, opportunities, internships, and pathways to many different opportunities after high school. We appreciate your support and partnership in helping our students shape their future. We hope you will take advantage of the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young adults by participating in this year’s event. Please confirm your commitment to participate in Chart Your Future by completing registration no later than September 15th to reserve your booth. We also invite you to celebrate with the Stafford County students you may hire or enlist as just six months after this event, students will participate in a division-wide Decision Day ceremony. During this event, all high school seniors will be honored as each announces their future plan whether it be enlistment, employment, or enrollment in higher education.
