Description

France produces some of the world's best wines. Many renowned growing regions, including Burgundy, Bordeaux, Loire, and Rhone, are completely dedicated to terroir and tradition. The grapes planted in these regions are typically restricted to a few traditional varietals. This seminar will feature four wines from the Rhone Valley: three reds and one white , to give you a sense of the depth and variety of wines from Rhone. The colors, aromas, and tastes of the valley have shaped and influenced everything we appreciate about wine. Whether you’re a connoisseur of great wine, or simply looking for the best bottle to serve with dinner or give as a gift, join us to expand your knowledge and palate to a range of tastes and traditions unmatched anywhere else in the world. In every glass of French wine is a world of pure discovery. Cost: $99.00 per person (includes $25 gift card ) * Light appitezers accompany this event. All reservations can be made on Eventbrite or email us at: [email protected] * Gift card use applies only to the featured products of the event tasting. Chateauneuf Du Pape, Domaine Bois De Boursan, 2019 The grape composition is: Clairette 35% / Grenache Blanc 35% / Roussanne 15% / Bourboulenc 15%. The fermentation occurs in enamel tanks and the elevage extends for six months only before bottling. The wine can be enjoyed young for its freshness but its mineral core reaches its ultimate expression several years later. Certified organic. Gigondas, Domaine Gour De Chaule, Tradition, 2018 The average age of the Grenache vines planted within these plots is 55 years (as of 2011). New oak is not used at this domaine. The resulting wine is sturdy, braced with sweet, dusty tannins, and is intensely aromatic with notes of crushed white pepper, oriental spices and game. Rasteau, Domaine Des Escaravailles, Les Coteaux, 2018 Ripe cherry and raspberry fruit characteristics as well as notes of ground herbs, violets, and earth. Medium-bodied, elegant, and delicious. Saint-Joseph, La Croix Des Vignes, Domaine Paul Jaboulet, 2019 A bit of a sleeper in the Jaboulet portfolio, the 2019 Saint Joseph Domaine de la Croix des Vignes is a top-flight effort, boasting hints of graham crackers, blueberries, cassis and mocha. It's full-bodied, rich and atypically concentrated, with a long, velvety finish that delivers immense pleasure. About Olivier Flosse Olivier Flosse is a 2X Grand Award Winner.
