Julie has Down Syndrome. A medical definition is an extra #21 chromosome. Her grandfather told her that it is not “extra”, but that everybody else is missing it. It is the LOVE Chromosome. If you know anybody with Down Syndrome, you know that is so true. Derrick, Julie’s brother, suffered a life altering brain injury that left him without much of the use of his left side. “Look on the RIGHT side” he will tell you. Join us on September 29th as Julie and Derrick talk about how they turn obstacles into opportunities and enjoy helping others learn to “LOVE THEIR LIFE”.
