BRBC's Fall in the Felicianas Century Bike Ride is not only a great ride, but it's an annual fall tradition! Bring a non-perishable food item and receive a raffle ticket. More items donated means more tickets. Scenic countryside supported bicycle ride offering century (100mi), metric century (62mi) route. and a quarter century (25 mi) distance routes. Enjoy rolling hills and shaded streets with historic homes throughout and near the route. This is a well supported event with rest stops stocked with refreshments and snacks to keep you fueled. Lunch provided after the ride. We will start and finish at the Baton Rouge Community College, Jackson Campus, 3337 Hwy 10, Jackson, LA, offering ample parking. Maps with cue sheets and route support will be provided, as well as, rolling SAG support, and sweep. We will have gumbo at the finish line starting at 10am. We will begin sweeping the course at 3pm. We need to have everyone finished by 3:30pm. If you are opting for the century, please ensure that completing it within that time frame is within your capabilities. This is a safety measure and gives the volunteers sufficient time to clean up the area. There is also an option to purchase 2023 Membership ($25) with BRBC with your ticket. Please note: tandem cyclists require 2 registrations. Receive a raffle ticket for each non-perishable food item! Be sure to explore the area attractions. Throughout the Feliciana parishes are historic homes offering lodging and tours, including one of America's Most Haunted Homes in nearby St. Francisville. All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. There is no RAIN date available for this event. Safety Information: These rides are held on public roads open to other vehicles. Riders should expect to encounter motorists and be prepared for road hazards. Participants should operate their bicycles in a safe and lawful manner, obeying traffic laws throughout the ride. The BRBC requires the use of CPSC, ANSI, or Snell approved helmets for this event. Everyone is encouraged to ride with a partner. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
