Drummer needed for gospel music Ministry, if you have already been blessed by God with the talent to play drums I'm now wondering whether it's time for you to bless God back with the talent he has given you to help bring his people into the light and the kingdom of God.Senior citizen, veteran of the 60s-70s Great Folk Scare, and retired professional singer-songwriter with wide repertoire and several axes, looking for active musicians (age, instruments flexible) for jamming, possible collaboration on new projects. More details by phone.We are putting together a cover band that plays early-mid 80s New Wave and Alternative music. We want to be the 80s band that plays all of the hits that other bands don't. Think The Fixx, Til Tuesday, Gary Neuman, Joe Jackson, The Go-Gos, Flock of Seagulls, The Police, Simple Minds, The Romantics, The Cars, and The Motels.Looking for bass player and drummer. We will rehearse a few times a week or whatever it takes to get it right at a local church, as they have been kind enough to supply a venue free of charge. The backing band is complete but we are looking for both male and female lead singers to complete the lineup. We want to really nail that 80s new wave sound. No choir rehearsals and no other commitments beyond Sunday 11am-12 noon. Stipend up to $700/month depending on experience; vacation time negotiable depending on length of service.
