Description
Remember the 80’s, the GOP was the party of optimism, economic opportunity, a strong defense, law and order, free markets, small government, individual rights, love of country, and a warm welcome for immigrants.
Right wing extremist were almost never heard. They lurked in the background, they were always there, but never showed their faces.
Then Trump was elected president and gave extremist a voice. He invited them to come out of the shadows and into the light. When Trump spoke publically, he spoke to them. Now everything that was appealing to the Republican party has been corroded by the acidity of Donald Trump.
The Republican party has become the party of lawlessness. Whenever another event happens to Trump because of his total ignorance for laws and rules as they apply to him and he gets stepped on by American Institutions. His supporters right up and cry foul, and his extremist minions strike out against American Institutions. Trump cheers them on and tells them he loves them.
