The project was founded by multi-instrumentalist Garitt Edward Tarver, and acts as a sonic exploration into themes of determination and suspense. It’s an outpouring of emotions ranging from anger and frustration, to complete and utter despair. Lyrically, Garitt pivots around themes of broken friendships, changing directions, religion, while merging his cerebral and jarring vocals with discordant, obtuse instrumental arrangements. Influenced by bands such as Nine Inch Nails, Tool, and Massive Attack, Garitt's earliest musical inspiration was catalyzed by the guitar. After first picking up the six-stringed instrument at the age of 13, he has struggled to put it down ever since. Its cathartic properties afford him the ability to truly craft out the soundtrack to his life. "This seemingly simple combo magically creates a larger-than-life musical experience while simultaneously lulling you into a dream state." [Venice Vibes] LaMARCHE, an acoustic soul trio, is comprised of Meredith LaMarche (lead vocals), Sean G (vocals/drums) and Dallen Jimenez (guitar). A true melodic love story; the group met, fell into a swift groove and discovered what they’ve termed their musical soulmates. Thanks in great part to the creative powers of the Mojave Desert, their appropriately named live acoustic EP "Headin' To The Desert" was born. Written and recorded within six months, this album includes fan favorites such as "Tell Me", "Yesterday" and the title track. Along with performing in legendary music venues around Los Angeles including: The Viper Room, The Roxy and Hotel Cafe; LaMARCHE held an exclusive year-long residency at acclaimed chef Stefan Richter’s (Bravo’s Top Chef/Top Chef Masters) restaurant, LA Farm in Santa Monica. After a long break, the band is looking forward to hitting the road, sharing the stage and most importantly, remaining true to their band’s original mantra: “to spread love through music”.
