"Jesus Christ, the Power of Providence"According to Hamlet Act 5, Scene 2, “There’s a special providence in the fall of a sparrow.” Shakespeare’s writing is based on Matthew 10:29-31, which comforts Christians with Jesus’ words, “Aren’t two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father’s consent. But even the hairs of your head have all been counted. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Episode 19 of The SHARE is all about the Power of Providence, the power of God’s foresight and care for His creatures. He uses foreknowledge and wisdom to direct the Christian’s path; they glorify Him when they follow His predesigned course. This “Way” is available to all—Jew and Greek, male and female, bond and free. You must share this spectacularly Good News with your family and friends because you want them to be heirs to God’s promises just as you are.
