Nash County Horse Farm Tour

Description

The tour will begin early in the morning, at the Nash County Agriculture Center with check-in at 7:00 am. You will travel from one stop to the next caravan-style in your personal vehicle. The tour include 3 farm stops with a guest speaker at each stop. The farm owners will share the different ways they have developed their properties and a guest speaker will presents a demonstration and/or talk on a topic that is of specific interest to horse enthusiasts. You will also have the opportunity to explore each facility, ask questions and gain knowledge of valuable lessons-learned by these established farm owners. The tour then wraps up with lunch at the Nash County Agriculture Center with our special guest speaker, Dr. Paul Siciliano, Professor, Animal Science at NC State University and door prizes.
