On Thursday, September 29, 2022, the Kern County Bar Association will present the prestigious Bench and Bar Award to Diane Messer Dodds. The Bench and Bar Award is presented to a member of our profession who exemplifies qualities and attributes representing our field with pride and honor. The recipient is given this award for rendering outstanding service to the administration of justice, bringing credit to the legal profession, and whose contributions are cognizable. We will recognize Diane Messer Dodds for her years of service as a lawyer, Bar leader, and mentor in Kern County. We want to extend our appreciation if you would join us in making this evening memorable for her and all those in attendance. This year’s Bench and Bar Award Dinner will be held at the Junior League of Bakersfield at 1928 19th St. in Bakersfield.
