Super Saturday: African American College and Career Summit The summit will run from 8:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Satellite Student Union, will center on accessing resources, networking and collaboration to address college readiness, retention and graduation from a post-secondary institution. Throughout the day, students and their families will attend workshops, hear from educational and community leaders, learn about community resources and win raffle prizes. Target Groups: African American Middle School, High School, Community College Transfer Students, and Parents. And with homecoming festivities taking place across campus, all participants will be invited to attend the State’s football game against San Jose State later in the evening at Bulldog Stadium.
