How about that story handed down from your great-great grandma Edith; is it true? Do I have an ancestor that fought in the Civil War or Revolutionary War? Is there someone famous in my family? How do I begin researching my genealogy? What records can be found, how do I document and organize them? How do I put all my records together to create a family tree? These questions and more will be answered at our Beginner Genealogy Workshop held on Sunday, August 28, 2022, from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. The workshop will be presented by Cindy Thibodeau, a Certified Genealogist and Forensic Genealogist, and owner of Past Down in Time Antiques in Woonsocket, RI. A learning workshop for the beginner researcher or a refresher to find more resources to research. Bring your questions and join us for a fun-filled afternoon learning how to research to discover your ancestors. We'll use real case studies, learn research techniques, find proof evidence, and how to cite your resources. you’ll see how we pull all evidence together to conclude the evidence is real and more. Break through those brick walls and complex problems by learning how to solve them.
